my ride home on Saturday 9/11/21
As some of you know, I am an air traffic controller for the FAA. I was working the morning of 9/11. To say the least it was a horrific day for many. Well on my ride home from work on Saturday, Im trudging along in traffic on the George and looked up and was just taken back but the stark beauty of what I saw. I hope my picture does the same for you
New York City on Labor Day 2021
I spent a nice day in the city with the Mrs! We checked out the new little Island. It was pretty cool. Melissa wanted to see it as it had just opened last month. We strolled around, hit up John’s of Bleeker for some quality pizza! If you’ve been there you know.. if you haven’t put it on your list. One of the best pizza places in New York. Did some shopping and all in all it was nice to be in Manhattan when it wasn’t too crowded!
